Recently, I’ve been learning about the CoinEX exchange’s native token, CET, and I’ve started developing a long-term strategy around it. Even though I discovered CET a bit late, I believe it’s still not too late to get to know it and use it strategically moving forward.
CET and Fractal Coin Mining
I came across CET through the mining feature of CoinEX, specifically during the Fractal Coin (FB) launchpool. This mining event ran from September 19th to September 24th. The mining coincided with a noticeable surge in CET’s price, though the token is now correcting after the launchpool ended.
CET Token Price Movement
CET saw significant price increases starting from September 19th, reaching as high as $0.15 on the daily chart before correcting. Historically, CET has maintained a stable price floor, only spiking upward during major events or launchpools like this one. After the current launchpool ends, I expect the price to pull back to around the $0.07 to $0.066 range. That’s when I plan to gradually accumulate CET, particularly due to its deflationary mechanism.
CET’s Deflationary Mechanism
Currently, CET has a burn rate of 71.79%, with a total supply of 10 billion tokens. Of that, 7.1 billion tokens have already been burned, leaving a circulating supply of about 2.7 billion. This dramatically reduced supply has made CET significantly scarcer. CET’s market cap currently stands around $200 million, placing it roughly in the 170-180 range globally.
Much like Binance Coin (BNB), CET’s price is expected to rise over time due to its burn mechanism. CoinEX burns 20% of its transaction fees in CET each month, steadily reducing the supply. Although I’m a bit late to realize CET’s potential, I’m now committed to gradually accumulating it.
How to Leverage CET
CET offers a wide range of benefits to its holders. These include participation in launchpools, VIP fee discounts, access to IEOs, staking, mining, and fee reductions. While the VIP fee discounts might not feel like a massive perk, the ability to consistently participate in launchpools is a significant advantage.
Additionally, holding CET allows you to receive airdrops for new tokens, which is another excellent benefit. These perks make CET’s ecosystem very similar to Binance’s BNB, and it’s evolving into a similar utility token within CoinEX.
Staking and Long-Term Strategy
CET can be staked in CoinEX Finance, offering an annual yield of around 3%. This is a great way to generate passive income from CET while holding it. Moreover, during future launchpool events, you can lock up your CET to maximize rewards.
My goal is to accumulate 50,000 CET over time, which currently costs around $4,000. While I don’t expect any quick, dramatic profits, I’m confident that CET’s long-term value will continue to increase.
Conclusion
CoinEX’s native token, CET, presents a strong long-term potential due to its deflationary mechanism and various utility benefits. If you’re interested, I encourage you to do your own research and consider incorporating CET into your investment strategy. As for me, I’ll be slowly accumulating CET with a target of 50,000 tokens.
This has been a brief overview of CET and my investment strategy for the token.
